ABC was the most watched network on Halloween Monday in Total Viewers (8.4 million). Please note: Overall Adult 18-49 TV usage on Halloween night was down -6% from the prior Monday (28.0 vs. 29.9).

"Dancing with the Stars" (8:00-10:00 p.m. - 11.0 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): From 8:00-10:00 p.m., ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was the night's most watched TV show, topping NBC's "The Voice" for the first time this season and leading by 1.0 million viewers (10.3 million vs. 9.3 million). In addition, "Dancing" delivered its closest finish this season with "The Voice" in Adults 18-49, coming within half a rating point (1.5/5 vs. 2.0/7). "DWTS" was the night's No. 2 show in Adults 18-49 (tie), behind only "The Voice."

Projections Rationale: Lifts vs. L+SD are based on the 2015-16 season for premiere telecast or an average for originals (excluding the premiere).
Returning shows: Profile based on same show (either premiere or averages for originals).
New Series: Based on similar series.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
