Mary-Louise Parker might soon be returning to television.

According to Deadline, NBC has just given a pilot order to Paul Junger Witt and Tony Thomas' Witt/Thomas Productions' single-camera dark comedy FEED ME, with former WEEDS star, Parker, in talks to star.

FEED ME is "a comedic exploration of adult intimacy and desire that centers on a dysfunctional family bound by love and the restaurant they run together. And when daughter Emma's husband has an affair, they circle the wagons to fiercely protect one of their own." Sally Robinson penned the script.

Per the report, Parker received multiple pilot offers this season, though her interest in FEED ME pushed the network to give the greenlight while her deal is negotiated.

Parker recently wrapped a run in MCC Theatre's THE SNOW GEES, and is best known for her role as cannabis-selling widow Nancy Botwin on Showtime's WEEDS. She was also recently seen opposite Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren in RED 2, and Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges in R.I.P.D.
