Throughout the summer, MSNBC's Chris Hayes and his "All In" team will travel the country to discover local stories that represent broader political issues for the special series 'All In America.' 'All In America' is an original and recurring series created by Hayes and his editorial show team focused on storytelling and original reporting. Hayes will explore topics including jobs and the economy, climate change, health care, voting rights, and more. Drawing from his roots as a local reporter, Hayes along with a team of producers will be on the ground in communities across the country to speak with and gain real, raw perspectives from people who are impacted by policy debates and social issues.

During the week of June 23-27, 'All In America- Behind the Color Line' will examine race and discrimination across the country with reports from Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte and New York City.

The series debuted in May with a look at political issues in America's heartland and an examination of the use of smart guns across the country.

Additional original stories will air over the next few months, each focusing on a different issue. For more information on 'All In America' please visit http://www.msnbc.com/all-in-america

Denis Horgan is the executive producer of "All In" (weekdays at 8 p.m. ET).
