Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer renews Greg Robertson for multiyear extension to continue to run the Asia Pacific office as Managing Director and Senior Vice President, International Television Distribution. Robertson will remain based in Australia and will continue to report directly to Chris Ottinger, President, Worldwide Television Distribution & Acquisitions.

Since joining MGM in 2013, Robertson has managed the strategic direction of the distribution operations throughout the Asia Pacific Region including Japan, Australia, Korea and India in all television media, including free, basic and premium services as well as MGM's digital and subscription video-on-demand businesses. Over the last three years, Robertson has led the team responsible for numerous multi-year deals with Television Networks and Digital Platforms across the region.

"Throughout Greg's tenure at MGM, he has expanded our international business in the region, closing some of the company's most important deals," said Ottinger. "Greg's strategic approach and relationships with Media Platforms have been essential to MGM's growth in Asia and we are very pleased that he will continue to lead our office."

"MGM continues to produce a great slate of film and television that resonates among the Asian Pacific audiences and appeals to our valued partners in the region," say Robertson. "I am delighted to remain a part of the stellar distribution team at MGM and look forward to bringing exciting theatricals, such as the star-studded 'The Magnificent Seven,' to MIPCOM this season."

Robertson and the team in the Asia Pacific office will distribute new MGM theatrical releases across the region including "The Magnificent Seven" where a diverse group of outlaws and GUNSLINGERS band together to defend a community's helpless citizens in the American west; "Tomb Raider," starring Academy Award winner Alicia Vikander; "Death Wish," starring Bruce Willis and directed by Eli Roth; "Sherlock Gnomes," a co-production with Paramount produced by Elton John's Rocket Pictures; and the original romance "Everything, Everything," based on Nicola Yoon's best-selling novel of the same name.
