Liz Heldens' Texas Church Drama SALVATION Gets Pilot Order from NBC

Liz Heldens, creator of DECEPTION, CAMP, and MERCY, has landed once again at NBC for her next project.

According to Deadline, the network has just given a pilot order to Heldens' SALVATION, a mega church drama, produced by Universal TV and David Janollari.

The project "is a family saga set against the backdrop of a Texas mega church where faith, family and corruption are explored in equal measure. The pilot centers on Jennifer Strickland, who has to defend her children, church and religious beliefs after her husband dies under mysterious circumstances."
