Kate Walsh Signs On to FX's FARGO

TVGuide.com reports that Kate Walsh has signed on the the cast of FX's upcoming series FARGO. The actress, best known for her roles on ABC's Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy joins previously announced actors Billy Bob Thornton and Oliver Platt on the 10-episode limited series.

Walsh will portray Gina, described as "a Trophy Wife and the mother of twin boys." The series, which will be executive-produced by Joel and Ethan Coen is based on their 1996 film of the same name. However a new storyline and new characters will be introduced.

The cast also includes Joey King, who will portray Greta, the daughter of Colin Hanks' character,Police Deputy Gus Grimly and Josh Close in the role of Ron, the brother of Martin Freeman's character Lester Nygaard, according to the report.
