Justin Timberlake, who received the Michael Jackson VMA Vanguard Award at Sunday night's awards ceremony, weighed in on with his opinion of Miley Cyrus' raunchy and controversial appearance alongside Robin Thicke.

Speaking with Fresh 102.7's Jim Douglas yesterday, the former 'NSync bandmember offered, "I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she's young. She's letting everyone know that she's growing up."

The entertainer believes that the atmosphere of the VMA's allows for more risque performanaces. "I just think it's the VMAs. It's not like she did it at the Grammys," he said. "Let her do her thing. You know?"

Timberlake himself lit up the stage Sunday night with a dazzling 17-minute medly of the greatest hits of his solo career. During the number, 'NSync fans were given a special treat when the 5 band members appeared together for a much-rumored reunion, singing a 30-second rendition of their mega hit, 'Bye Bye Bye.'
