Indie film SAINT JANET, starring theater and TV star Kelly Bishop, now available to stream on Amazon. What if one day your mother announced that God gave her the power to heal?

That's the provocative question at the heart of NYC-set indie film SAINT JANET, penned by Obie Award winning playwright Kyle Jarrow (The SpongeBob Musical, A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant, Whisper House) and directed by Emmy Award winner Habib Azar.

The feature film stars Tony Award winner Kelly Bishop (Six Degrees of Separation, Chorus Line, Dirty Dancing), who is also now appearing in the much-lauded Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix. Starring alongside Ms. Bishop are Nyambi Nyambi (Mike and Molly, Broadway's Joe Turner's Come and Gone), Lauren Bittner (Paranormal Activity 3), Ana Kayne (Another Earth), and Matt Walton (Burn After Reading). Also featured are Tony Nominee Lauren Worsham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder), Daniel London (Synecdoche New York), Jonathan Raviv (Off-Broadway's My Name is Asher Lev), Marguerite Stimpson (Broadway's Butley) and Perry Silver. Casting is by James Calleri and Paul Davis of Calleri Casting.

The movie was picked up for distribution by Indie Rights Films and is now available for streaming on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Saint-Janet-Kelly-Bishop/dp/B01M3W0A6O/

SAINT JANET follows what happens when Janet Turner - a woman who's never been religious in any way - becomes convinced that she's spoken to God. Janet believes she's been given the power to heal through her touch, and is determined to devote everything she has to this pursuit. Her grown children wrestle with how to respond. Has their mother lost her mind? Is she helping people, or is she destroying her own life? The result is a quirky, thought-provoking tale about faith, forgiveness, and family.
