ICE & COCO Delivers Strong Debut Ratings In Premiere of Summer Preview

"Ice & Coco" kicked off its 8-market summer preview on Monday, delivering an impressive 1.2/4 Household rating/share, growing +33% over its lead-in share average. The series also posted strong ratings gains over the August '14 time period (+71%), improving in all 8 of its clearances. Comparatively, this debut rating out-delivered the prior FOX/Warner Bros. summer preview "The Real" by +9%.

Among its core Adult 25-54 demographic, "Ice & Coco" earned a 0.7/5 rtg/shr, more than doubling the prior year Aug '14 time period rating (+133%) and improving +25% over its lead-in share. The show drove growth in the nation's top 2 markets, improving over both lead-in and prior year time period in New York (WNYW/F/11a, 0.7/6 rtg/shr) and Los Angeles (KTTV/F/1p, 0.3/3). "Ice & Coco" was particularly strong in Baltimore (WUTB/I/4p, 0.6/4 rtg/shr) where it doubled its lead-in and grew +50% over last August's Queen Latifah.

The new series also delivered a strong debut among Women 25-54 with a 0.9/6 rating/share, growing +50% over its lead-in share and nearly doubling the Aug '14 time period rating (+80%). Additionally, "Ice & Coco" ranked #1 in its time period in key markets Washington DC (WTTG/F/12p, 0.8/7 rtg/shr) and Phoenix (KSAZ/F/2p, 0.9/5 rtg/shr), and ranked a strong 2nd in Los Angeles (KTTV/F/1p, 0.5/4).

In the premiere episode of "Ice & Coco," hosts Ice-T and wife Coco Austin revealed that they are expecting a baby girl, their first child together after fifteen years of marriage. The new daytime duo surprised viewers when they shared that Coco is five months pregnant and that they've already settled on a name, Chanel.
