Hallmark Channel in partnership with North Shore ANIMAL League America celebrates "Kitten Bowl III" by hosting adoption parties for the third year in a row at over 35 local shelters across the nation. The "Kitten Bowl III" adoption parties have resulted in over 1,000 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens being adopted nationwide in the past two years. The adoption parties will take place on Saturday and Sunday during KITTEN BOWL Weekend, in celebration of "Kitten Bowl III" premiering Su-purr Bowl Sunday, February 7, 2016 (12p.m. ET/PT, 11C). Additionally, all 100 cat-letes who will be participating in "Kitten Bowl III" have already been found loving homes.

"The 'Kitten Bowl' franchise was developed as a programming event to reinforce Hallmark Channel's Pet Project, our corporate pet adoption initiative," said Bill Abbott, President & CEO, Crown Media Family Networks. "It is exciting to continue our longstanding partnership with North Shore ANIMAL League America and work with their extraordinary shelter partners whose tireless efforts in making 'Kitten Bowl III' adoption parties a success helps reinforce the program's ultimate purpose of finding animals a loving home and family."

Hallmark Channel's "Kitten Bowl III" adoption parties will include give-a-ways of cat-lete player trading cards, posters, plush toys, fun-filled activities, adoption specials for approved adopters and a special viewing of the championship game. "Kitten Bowl III" is hosted by TV personality, author and ANIMAL advocate Beth Stern, along with play-by-play announcers John Sterling, iconic radio voice of the New York Yankees, and award-winning reporter, sports analyst and commentator Mary Carillo. Celebrities across all facets of the entertainment industry will also participate, including Kevin Nealon, Brad Garrett, Wendy McLendon-Covey and many more. New this year, are adoptable cats as team coaches as well as an adorable kitten and puppy halftime show.
