HARDCORE PAWN Season Finale Draws 3.4 Million Viewers

truTV's hit series Hardcore Pawn closed out its sixth season last night with 3.4 million viewers, making it the largest audience in the network's history. The show ranked as basic cable's #1 unscripted program in the 9 p.m. timeslot with adults 18-49 (1.5 million) and men 18-49 (916,000). Among all basic cable programs in the timeslot, Hardcore Pawn ranked #2 with key demos, coming in second only to sister network TBS.

For its sixth season, Hardcore Pawn averaged 2.6 million viewers, up 14% compared to season five. The series also averaged 1.2 million adults 18-49 and 678,000 men 18-49.

Hardcore Pawn's season finale was followed at 9:30 p.m. by a new episode of truTV's new hit Hardcore Pawn: Chicago, which scored 2.2 million viewers, which is up 8% boost over the prior week and ranks as the show's second best performance to date. It also pulled in 1 million adults 18-49 and 544,000 men 18-49.

truTV's breakout hit Hardcore Pawn the takes viewers behind the scenes of the immense American Jewelry & Loan, a family business owned by third-generation pawnbroker Les Gold. Working with Les are his son, Seth, and daughter, Ashley. The series, which just celebrated its 100th episode, comes to truTV from Zodiak USA, with Mike Gamson, Natalka Znak and Richard Dominick serving as executive producers.
