TVLine.com reports that Amanda Setton and Stephen Tobolowsky have joined the cast of Mindy Kaling's upcoming Fox comedy THE MINDY PROJECT as series regulars. Ike Barinholtz, who serves as the show's executive story editor, will appear as a recurring character.

Created and starring Emmy-nominated writer/producer and New York Times best-selling author Mindy Kaling (“The Office”), THE MINDY PROJECT features Kaling as a skilled OB/GYN navigating the tricky waters of both her personal and professional life, as she pursues her dreams of becoming the perfect woman, finding the perfect man and getting her perfect romantic comedy ending in the new comedy THE MINDY PROJECT.

Setton will portray Shauna Dicanio who will work at Shulman and Associates, the medical office  where Kaling’s OB/GYN practices. According to the character description, the Jersey-born Shauna "never met a bill she couldn’t get paid." Setton's TV credits include Gossip Girl, One Life to Live and Sex and the City.

Tobolowsky is best known as GLEE's former choir director Sandy. He will portray Dr. Marc Shulman, who heads up the practice. The actor recently appeared on Californication and Justified.

The actors join already-announced cast members Kaling, Chris Messina (Damages), British comedian Ed Weeks, Anna Camp (The Good Wife) and Zoe Jarman (Huge).

THE MINDY PROJECT will premiere Sept. 25 at 9:30/8:30c on Fox.
