While it remains a secret as to which songs fans voted to hear on the highly anticipated upcoming 100th episode of GLEE, series stars Lea Michele and Mark Salling were hard at work recording tunes for the milestone event.

On Monday, Michele tweeted her excitement on getting back to work on the show: "Back in the studio with @alxanders for #glee100thepisode today! Feels good to be back:)"

Yesterday, Firehouse Studios shared an image of Mark Salling, who portrays 'Puck,' hard at work in the studio, along with the caption: "Here's @MarkSalling of @GLEEonFOX tracking #vocals #inthestudio w/ #vox guru @loudmouthmuch. #puck #glee #music"

The hit musical comedy series will celebrate its 100th episode on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Fans of the show had the opportunity to vote for their favorite musical numbers from among 30 songs performed over the past five seasons, including 'Bad Romance,' 'Defying Gravity' and 'Don't Stop Believin'.

The Top 10 fan-chosen Glee songs from the past will be re-mixed and performed by the current members of New Directions in the milestone 100thepisode. The episode will focus on McKinley High's latest batch of seniors as they approach graduation and reminisce about their most memorable moments, while singing new versions of these iconic tracks.

Last month, it was confirmed that Harry Shum Jr., who portrayed Mike, recent Dancing With the Stars winner Amber Riley, who portrayed Mercedes, Mark Salling, who portrayed Puck and Heather Morris, who portrayed Brittany have all signed on to make an appearance. In addition, Kristin Chenoweth will reprise her hilarious role as April Rhodes, a figure from Will's (Matthew Morrison) high school days of Glee club along with Dianna Agron, who played Quinn.
