'Full House' Star Bob Saget to Write Book

USA Today reports that Bob Saget is set to pen a book about his career in entertainment. According to the report, the book will consist of "never-before-heard stories" of his years on Full House and America's Funniest Home Videos. It is set to be published in early 2014.

In a statement, It Books' executive editor Mark Chait commented, "With this book he truly lets it all hang out - the full monty of his crazy self, his dirty humor unique personality."

On his Facebook page, the comedian shared: "I'm excited to be writing my first book for It Books, an Imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, for early 2014. It may get dirty."

The stand-up comedian, actor and television host is best known for his family-friendly roles as Danny Tanner in Full House and the original host of America's Funniest Home Videos. Since 2005, he has provided the voice of the future Ted Mosby on How I Met Your Mother.
