TVGuide.com reports that the FOX network has ordered a comedy script from Conan O'Brien's Production Company, Conaco for a new single-camera half-hour sitcom to be entitled BOB'S NEW HEART. Ben Wexler will pen the project.

The series will follow "a young hotshot Doctor Who winds up with a heart transplant. After that life-altering event, the doctor re-evaluates his life and decides to move back to the working-class neighborhood where he grew up and take over a small family practice."

Wexler and O'Brien will executive produce along with Conaco's David Kissinger and Jeff Ross. Wexler's writing credits include Community, Breaking In and The Good Guys. He has previously worked with O'Brien on a 2010 FOX script entitled Best Friends Forever.
