Esquire Network Appoints 3 New Executives to Key Roles

Esquire Network, which debuted September 23, has named three new executives to key roles in programming, marketing and communications. Dave Serwatka has been named Vice President, Current Programming, while Jamie French has joined as Vice President, Communications and Marta Harmon will serve as Vice President of Marketing, it was announced today.

As Vice President, Current Programming, Dave Serwatka will oversee and creatively guide the network's current programming division, and reports to Matt Hanna, Head of Original Programming. Serwatka joins Esquire Network following a nine-year tenure at Bravo Media, where he most recently served as Vice President of Current & Cross Platform Productions. Previously, Serwatka was Vice President of Programming and Production for Bravo, where he served as executive producer on several of the network's most-successful series, including the Emmy-winning Top Chef franchise, the Emmy-nominated Project Greenlight series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, The Real Housewives of Orange County, Top Design and the Emmy-winning transmedia series, Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen, among others. Prior to Bravo, Serwatka worked as a producer, development executive and talent executive for various networks including Trio, Comedy Central, HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival and HBO Downtown Productions.

As Vice President, Communications and Talent Relations, Jamie French will manage Esquire Network program publicity and talent relations for its aggressive slate of new originals, reporting to Head of Communications Katherine Nelson. Most recently, French served as Vice President, Communications for Style Network, overseeing all corporate messaging and media relations. Prior to Style, French served as Senior Director, NBC Entertainment Publicity, where he oversaw the successful media campaign for The Voice and managed strategies and campaigns for various high-profile Emmy-nominated series including Friday Night Lights, Parenthood, and the Emmy-winning series Will & Grace, among others.

Marta Harmon will oversee consumer, trade and event marketing in her role as Vice President of Marketing for Esquire Network, reporting to Deena Stern, SVP, Marketing and Digital. Harmon previously served as Vice President of Consumer Marketing for Style Network. During her tenure at Style, Harmon led marketing strategy development and oversaw off-air media, promotions, affiliate marketing, social media and partnerships. Before joining Style in 2005, Marta worked in broadcast television at The WB Television Network in Integrated Marketing, working with advertisers and media agencies on product integration and promotions for both The WB Primetime and KidsWB!
