Comcast Teams with BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS on Encore Performance by Camila Cabello

dick clark productions today announced that in addition to performing her new music for the very first time on the 2017 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS, Camila Cabello will treat fans to an encore performance of her hit single "I Have Questions" exclusively for Xfinity X1 customers. The encore performance will be available live via Xfinity X1 immediately after the BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS air. Cabello is nominated for Top Rap Collaboration for her hit song "Bad Things" with Machine Gun Kelly. The "2017 Billboard Music Awards" will broadcast live on both coasts from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday May 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT on ABC.

As part of today's announcement, Comcast's Xfinity brand has officially announced its partnership with the "2017 Billboard Music Awards." In addition to the live broadcast on ABC, all Xfinity TV customers will be able to watch a multitude of BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS content via Xfinity On Demand leading up to the live broadcast, including "Behind the Performance," which will take fans behind the preparations for Camila Cabello's encore performance, archival clips from past BBMAs and "BBMAs Roundtable" which includes expert commentary on the nominees for the show. The content will also be available online at xfinity.com/BBMAs.

Ludacris and Vanessa Hudgens will host the "2017 Billboard Music Awards." Along with Cabello, previously announced performers on the broadcast include The Chainsmokers,Miley Cyrus, Celine Dion, Drake, Florida Georgia Line, Halsey, Sam Hunt, Imagine Dragons, John Legend, Lorde, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran and 2017 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS ICON Award recipient, Cher.

The official red carpet pre-show for the "2017 Billboard Music Awards" will live stream exclusively on Twitter on May 21, starting at 3pm PT/6pm ET. The pre-show will be available to logged-in and logged-out audiences on Twitter and connected devices.

Billboard Music Awards nominees are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring and social engagement. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of March 18, 2016 through March 16, 2017. Since 1940, the Billboard charts have been the go-to guide for ranking the popularity of songs and albums, and are the ultimate measure of success in music.

Fans can still vote online and on Twitter for Billboard Chart Achievement Award Presented by Xfinity and Top Social Artist Presented by ION360. Voting for both categories will remain open until May 21, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT (one hour into the live broadcast).
