CBS's SURVIVOR, CRIMINAL MINDS Sweep Time Periods

Survivor and Criminal Minds swept their time periods in viewers and key demos, while CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was first in viewers and posted growth in adults 18-49 from its last original episode, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Wednesday, April 30.

SURVIVOR was first in viewers (9.58m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07). Survivor added +150,000 viewers (from 9.43m, +2%) compared to last week. If the ratings hold, Survivor topped "American Idol Wednesday" in their common hour for the sixth straight week in viewers and the eighth consecutive week in key demos.

CRIMINAL MINDS was first in viewers (10.25m), adults 25-54 (2.9/07) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06). Compared to its last original episode on April 9, Criminal Minds added +400,000 viewers (from 9.85m +4%). Criminal Minds was the night's #1 program in viewers.

At 10:00 PM, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was first in viewers (9.95m) and adults 25-54 (2.6/07) and was second in adults 18-49 (1.8/05, -0.1 behind NBC). Compared to its last original episode on April 9, CSI was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 2.4/06), +6% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/05) and added +840,000 viewers (from 9.11m +9%).

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (9.92m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/06). CBS swept the night in these measures for the second straight night.
