CBS's FACE THE NATION Draws More Than 3 Million Viewers on 10/25

CBS News' FACE THE NATION delivered 3.70 million viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings on Oct. 25. FACE THE NATION was #1 in viewers and second in adults 25-54 (0.7/04). Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 57.4% of the CBS affiliates.

Compared to the same day last year, FACE THE NATION was up +23% in viewers (from 3.01m) and even in adults 25-54.

Season-to-date, FACE THE NATION is delivering 3.45m viewers and is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program. Compared to last season, FACE THE NATION is up +6% in viewers (from 3.24m) and even in adults 25-54.

The Oct. 25 broadcast featured interviews with Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump and Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ). Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) and Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) appeared to discuss the election of a new Speaker of the House and the status of the war on terror. Host John Dickerson also spoke with CBS News' Elections Director Anthony Salvanto and Congressional Correspondent Nancy Cordes and unveiled the results of a new CBS News "Battleground Tracker" poll. This week's panel of analysts included Susan Page of USA Today; Mark Leibovich of The New York Times Magazine; Robert Costa of The Washington Post; and Reihan Salam of The National Review.
