In an atypical week that included the first Presidential debate and a bye week in the Network's Thursday football schedule, CBS placed first in viewers for the second consecutive week of the new season, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 2.
CBS had four of the top 10 broadcasts and 10 of the top 20, more than any other network including the top two new dramas (BULL, MACGYVER), top new comedy (KEVIN CAN WAIT), top two scripted shows (NCIS, THE BIG BANG THEORY) and top news program (60 MINUTES). The Network also had the week's top six dramas-NCIS (#2 overall), BULL, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, BLUE BLOODS and HAWAII FIVE-0.
