CBS THIS MORNING is Only Morning News Broadcast to Post Audience Gains Across Viewers

CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning news broadcast to post year-to-year gains among viewers (+10%, 3.56m from 3.24m), adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/08 from 0.8/07), and women 25-54 (+22%, 1.1/08 from 0.9/06) compared to a year ago, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 18.

CBS THIS MORNING gained +320,000 viewers compared to the same week last year and cut the deficit with ABC by nearly a million viewers (850,000), and closed the viewership gap with NBC by 720,000 viewers.

Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING is up +8% in viewers (3.48m from 3.23m) and up +13% in adults 25-54 (0.9/08 from 0.8/07) compared to last year.

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY posted 2.10m viewers and 0.5/04 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY was even in viewers according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Dec. 19.

Season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is up +6% in viewers (2.20m from 2.07m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.5/04) compared to last season.
