CBS THIS MORNING Posts Best 1st Quarter Viewer Delivery in 21 Years

For first quarter 2015, CBS THIS MORNING posted its best delivery in viewers in 21 years (since first quarter 1994), and was the only network morning broadcast to post gains compared to first quarter 2014 (+9%, 3.44m from 3.16m).

CBS THIS MORNING was also the only network morning broadcast to maintain its adults 25-54 rating (0.9/07), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, compared to first quarter 2014, according to Nielsen most current ratings.

Additionally, CBS THIS MORNING is in its closest first quarter competitive position with NBC among viewers in 20 years (since first quarter 1995), and among adults 25-54 in 23 years (since first quarter 1992).

For the week ending March 27, CBS THIS MORNING was the only network morning broadcast to post year-to-year gains among viewers (+7%, 3.28m from 3.06m) compared to a year ago, according to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings. CBS THIS MORNING gained +220,000 viewers, and closed the gap with NBC by more than 800,000 viewers.

For the 2014-15 season-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING continues to be the only network morning news program to post a viewer gain (+7%, 3.33m from 3.10m), and the only program to maintain its adult 25-54 rating (0.9/07) compared to a year ago.
