THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, featuring the return of CBS Daytime veteran and CRIMINAL MINDS star Shemar Moore for two episodes, delivered its largest weekly audience and best women 18-49 rating since March, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Sept. 14.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS averaged 4.70 million viewers (up +3% from the prior week), 1.3/09 in women 18-49 (up +8%) and 2.0/13 in women 25-54 (up +5%). It was THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS' best viewer and women 18-49 deliveries since the week ending March 28.

Moore, who appeared as series regular on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for 11 years (1994-2002 and 2004-2005), reprised his role as the charismatic Malcolm Winters, a portrayal that earned him a Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2000.
