CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD posted season-to-date gains with viewers and remained the #1 Sunday Morning news program with viewers and adults 25-54.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING averaged 6.03 million viewers and a 1.4/07 with adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 25.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING has delivered more than 6 million viewers in four of the last five Sundays.

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in viewers (6.08m from 5.91m) compared to last year.

Sunday's broadcast featured Tracy Smith's report on an increase in sexual assaults on college campuses and how universities and lawmakers are taking action. Also on the broadcast was Lee Cowan's profile of magicians Penn and Teller; Dean Reynolds report the enduring appeal of 300-year-old Stradivarius violins; Serena Altschul's visit with "The Barefoot Contessa," chef and TV host Ina Garten; Mark Phillips' look at how archeologists are using new technology to help solve some of the mysteries of the Stonehenge monument in England; and Steve Hartman's interview with a teenager who releases a balloon each year to try to contact her late father.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
