CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH Charles Osgood was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Jan. 20, 2013.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 4.2/11 with 6.03m viewers and a 1.7/08 in adults 25-54. The broadcast posted its best viewers delivery since Feb. 4, 1996 for the third time in four weeks and posted its best adults 25-54 ratings since Feb. 7, 2010.

Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in both households (from 3.9/10) and viewers (from 5.58m) and +13% in adults 25-54 (from 1.5/07). Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +5% in households (3.9/11 from 3.7/10), +6% in viewers (5.59m from 5.27m) and +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) compared to last year.
Sunday's broadcast featurEd Barry Petersen's look into what it takes for a President to be considered great in the eyes of history; Martha Teichner's visit to Highclere Castle, the real English manor used as the backdrop for the series "Downton Abbey"; Lee Cowan's report on the Chevrolet Corvette, which included an interview with NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick; and Rebecca Jarvis' profile of billionaire Warren Buffett.
