Scott Pelley will anchor a CBS News primetime news special on Hurricane Sandy tonight, Oct. 29 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network.

Scott Pelley will also anchor an extended, hour-long broadcast of the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) live from Allenhurst, N.J., tonight, Oct. 29 for special coverage of Hurricane Sandy.

CBS News’ experienced team of correspondents will contribute to tonight’s coverage from positions along the storm's path. CBS News Correspondent Chip Reid will report from Ocean City, Md.; Elaine Quijano will report on conditions along the Jersey Shore; Seth Doane will be stationed in Newport, R.I.; Anna Werner will report from Roanoke, Va.; Wyatt Andrews will report from Washington, D.C.; Michelle Miller will report from Long Island; and Jim Axelrod will have the latest from Times Square. CBS News Senior Correspondent John Miller will report on how authorities are preparing for the storm. CBS THIS MORNING Special Correspondent Jeff Glor will report from Atlantic City.

In addition, CBS News Senior Business Correspondent Anthony Mason will report on the storm’s economic impact. CBS News Senior White House Correspondent Bill Plante, CBS News Political Correspondent Jan Crawford and CBS News Political Director John Dickerson will report on the potential impact Hurricane Sandy may have on the election. CBS News Hurricane Consultant David Bernard will continue to track the storm’s path.
