In case you missed the series premiere of the CW's newest hit JANE THE VIRGIN, let me catch you up okay? Jane was accidentally artificially inseminated. Seems normal right? Needless to say, that was not the result Jane thought she'd leave with after being scheduled for a pap smear. Let me start by saying, I love the entire tone of this show, it's hysterically funny. Who doesn't love a dramatic narrator? Though she is unexpectedly expecting, Jane is set on moving on with life like everything is normal. She doesn't plan to keep the baby, or shall I say, "milkshake" as she calls it. Jane feels pressure though from her family to sue the doctor for the mix-up. Why she isn't 100% okay with this plan I have no clue. Oh, and if I'm being honest, you almost need a chart to follow along with this show. There is a lot going on, and a whole lot of people that are all connected to each other so try and stay with me.

Jane was cool with giving the baby to Petra and Raphael (without any inclination they were on the brink of divorce or that Petra was a cheating hoe). Raphael asked Jane not to sue seeing that his sister was the doctor that got her pregnant (for lack of better wording) and that she was already probably going to lose her license. After digging into Raphael's history Jane panics and decides she wants to keep the baby. Though she ends up meeting with Petra during her sonogram appointment (that practically everyone attended) she starts to feel a connection with her milkshake...I mean baby.

In other news, Jane's real dad Rogelio has resurfaced and wants to be in her life. Can you say bad timing?! Needless to say, her mom is in panic mode on how to handle the situation. To make the situation even funnier, Xio's baby daddy/Jane's dad is a telenovela star. Moving on, Michael who knew Petra was cheating on Raphael, threatened to spill the beans unless she called off the affair with Roman. Well no need to worry there as Roman ended up dead by the end of the episode. Problem solved I suppose?

Seems Jane is in a difficult place. Does she try to not become attached to the baby and just give away? Or does she keep it as her own? What should she do? Sound off in the comments below or tweet me at @joeyohern!
