According to Deadline, Adam Sandler has locked a deal to make his upcoming comedy film THE RIDICULOUS 6 one of his four Netflix debuts. Last October, Sandler opted to produce four movies -- in which he will also star -- for Netflix via his Happy Madison Production banner.

Directed by THE WEDDING SINGER's Frank Coraci from a script by Tim Herlihy and Sandler, the ensemble comedy will also star Terry Crews, Lavell Crawford, Whitney Cummings, Jorge Garcia, Taylor Lautner, Nick Nolte, Chris Parnell, Rob Schneider, Blake Shelton, Danny Trejo, Luke Wilson and Steve Zahn.

Also reported to have signed on are Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Dan Aykroyd, Will Forte, Nick Swardson, Jon Lovitz and Vanilla Ice.

Sandler will play man who grew up as an orphan among an Indian tribe. Lautner, Schneider, Wilson and Crews are poised to play his half-brothers, while the final half-brother has yet to be cast. Nolte will play Sandler's long-lost father; Parnell a bank manager; Lovitz a wealthy industrialist and Cummings his flirtatious wife. Forte and Trejo will play the leaders of rival gangs, while Buscemi will play a local jack-of-all-trades. Shelton is in line to play Wyatt Earp, while Vanilla Ice has been tipped to play Mark Twain.

THE RIDICULOUS 6 is slated to start production this month in Santa Fe.

Sandler is also acting in and producing PIXELS and HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2. He recently appeared on the big screen in THE COBBLER, MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN and BLENDED.
