Actress Megan Henry stars as the newest anti-heroine to hit the festival circuit delivering vigilante justice in the award-winning short action-drama film GUARDIAN ANGEL.

Fresh off its 'Platinum' award win for Short/Thriller at 2017 WorldFest Houston, GUARDIAN ANGEL will head to the Phoenix Comic-Con on May 25-28 as an 'Official Selection'. As both the star and executive producer, Henry is excited to unleash this strong and unconventional female character on the festival circuit.

Directed by Ralph Odierna, GUARDIAN ANGEL follows Maddie (Henry), an unlikely hero in a dark and dirty world, who believes she has been chosen by God to be a guardian angel seeking vengeance against those who harm the innocent.

WorldFest Houston also honored two additional projects in which Henry appears, including a 'Gold' award win for the celebrated dramatic short film My Name Is Lamar and a 'Silver' award win for the mysterious web anthology series In Absentia.

A multi-talented beauty, Henry has been building a solid reputation in Hollywood as an actress and producer. Currently, Henry is in-development to bring a new breed of soldier to the battlefield starring in the action-thriller series, Accelerate, from CLIO award-winning director/writer Marcus Perry. Henry also co-executive produced the short action film, Good Guys with Guns, which is finishing up post-production before heading to the festival circuit; and she is in pre-production as associate producer on the indie feature film project, Turnover. This talented actress also recently added an appearance on ABC's long-running soap, General Hospital, to her on-camera resume.

Originally from Fountain Valley, California, Henry graduated from the University of Southern California, earning degrees in Communications and Theater. Today, she proudly sits on the board and is the Program Coordinator for the non-profit Makeovers That Matter, dedicated to the empowerment of female veterans.
