"GMA" beat NBC's "Today" (4.381 million, 1.635 million, and 1.215 million, respectively) by 627,000 Total Viewers, 126,000 Adults 25-54 and 20,000 Adults 18-49.
"GMA" increased its Total Viewer lead over "Today" both week to week (+63% - vs. 384,000 for w/o 6/1/15) and year to year (+1% - vs. 623,000 for w/o 6/9/14). "GMA" improved on the previous week (1.737 million and 1.190 million on w/o 6/1/15) in Adults 25-54 (+1%) and Adults 18-49 (+4%). Season to date, "GMA" is the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54. "GMA" is leading "Today" by 580,000 Total Viewers and by 123,000 Adults 25-54. In fact, "GMA" has increased its season margin over "Today" versus the same point last season in Adults 25-54 (+18% - 123,000 vs. 104,000). Furthermore, ranking No. 1 for the 3rd-straight season in Total Viewers and Adults 25-54, "GMA" is seeing its widest Adults 25-54 margin over "Today" in 22 years - since the 1992-93 season.
