ABC Dramas Lead Thursday Night in Adults 18-49

ABC Thursday Prime (8-11pm - 6.2 million and 1.7/6 in AD18-49): ABC ran a strong second on Thursday in Adults 18-49 (1.7/6) to CBS with the return of its Big Bang-led Thursday lineup (1.9/7), beating original lineups on 3rd-place NBC by 42% (1.2/4) and 4th-place FOX by 89% (0.9/3).

On the Thursday leading into Passover/Easter weekend, overall Adult 18-49 TV primetime usage levels dropped at sharp -8% week to week (28.4 vs. 30.9).

ABC's SCANDAL (2.1/7) and Grey's (1.8/7) were Thursday's Top 2 dramas in Adults 18-49 (out of 8 total airing on just the Big 4 nets), while SCANDAL finished as the night's #2 TV show, behind only CBS' The Big Bang Theory.

At 10pm, ABC freshman AMERICAN CRIME beat the finale of NBC's The Slap by 42% in Total Viewers (4.7 million vs. 3.3 million) and by 57% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/4 vs. 0.7/2). The ABC freshman drama is seeing strong TV playback. On average in the Live + 3 Day numbers, AMERICAN CRIME jumps +42% in Adults 18-49 from its L+SD rating (from a 1.5 rating to a 2.1 rating in L+3) and adds on another +2.1 million viewers to its next-day tally (6.3 million to 8.4 million in L+3).
