Aunt Jackie is back - and headed to Fox. As TV Line reported today, ROSEANNE and stage vet Laurie Metcalf is set to guest star on Fox's upcoming midseason comedy THE GOODWIN GAMES, for a multiple-episode story arc.
Created by Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Chris Harris - the team behind HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER - the 30-minute comedy centers around three children who must reconnect in order to inherit their father's fortune. THE GOODWIN GAMES stars UGLY BETTY's Becki Newton and Scott Foley.
Metcalf is slated to play Foley's boss, Dr. Richland.
A long-time stage actress in both Chicago and New York, Metcalf is best known for her 9-year stint as Aunt Jackie on ROSEANNE. She has also guest starred on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES and THE BIG BANG THEORY.
