THE ONCE WAS

BIO:
Hailing from Moorestown, New Jersey, The Once Was is an eclectic four-piece indie rock band descending from the creative zealot that is the home recording studio. Collaborating existential lyrical themes with progressive indie-pop rhythms, the band brings an energetic and surprising live show to audiences and enthusiasts alike. In March of 2009 the band released their debut full length album "Post War Parade." Based on a shoestring budget leftover from local gigging, the band independently produced their album at Studio 4 in Philadelphia. This is the story of The Once Was. What is and has not been, but still very much will have been Once. For now and the past are synonymous within the spectrum of future. Will and won't have no bearing on were and wasn't, for will always precedes Was in some way at least Once. Is in fact is true if you are, but if you never were than is will still be true for you all the same. The, on the other hand, represents falsehoods created by men to serve a greater purpose, for Once Was a man who knew nothing.
