Tommy Emmanuel to Tour United States Alongside Martin Taylor in Early 2014

Two-time GRAMMY Nominee Tommy Emmanuel, whose five decade career has garnered hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide, will once again be bringing his passionate and infectious live show to the United States in early 2014. He will be joined by world-renowned British guitarist Martin Taylor, with whom Tommy Recorded and released the ARIA-nominated album The Colonel and The Governor, a jazz-inspired duet album that re-creates classics from masters such as Django Reinhardt, Karl Krass, and Eddie Lang.

The 23-city tour kicks off on January 17 th in San Francisco at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre and wraps up on February 28 th at The Plaza Live Theatre in Orlando, with a special performance at Folsom State Prison on January 20 th.

From July 28th to August 1 st, 2014, Emmanuel will be hosting his first-ever Tommy Emmanuel Guitar Camp USA. This all-inclusive 3 day/4 night workshop will take place at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, NY, where players of all ages and skill levels will learn directly from Tommy and other top players, including Dr. John Knowles, CGP. Recently, Emmanuel self-released his highly anticipated live CD/DVD combo, titled "Tommy Emmanuel cgp: Live and Solo in Pensacola, Florida." Recorded live in early 2013, this CD/DVD includes old and new favorites, exhibiting Tommy's amazing showmanship and musical talent as he performs before a packed house at the Jean & Paul Amos Performance Studio.

Tommy Emmanuel is an honorary Kentucky Colonel, a CGP (Certified Guitar Player), an Order of Australia Medalist (AM) and the holder of both an honorary Master's Degree (MA) and more recently an honorary Doctor of Arts (DR) from Charles Sturt University in Australia in recognition of his commitment to rural Australia and his contribution to music education.
