Kenny Loggins to Play Ridgefield Playhouse, 8/13
Legendary Grammy Award-winner, singer/songwriter guitarist Kenny Loggins of "What A Fool Believes" fame is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, August 13, at 8 p.m. Loggins was originally part of the duo Loggins and Messina and went on to become a solo performer and songwriter for other recording artists. He released hits such as "I Believe in Love" and "Whenever I Call You Friend". From his days with Jim Messina to his illustrious solo career, Kenny Loggins' songs have become classics. Kenny Loggins' remarkable four-decade-plus career has brought him from the top of the charts to the roster of the Grammys. He's had smash hits on Hollywood's favorite movie soundtracks, rocked worldwide stages, and found his way into children's hearts while bringing his soulful, beautiful voice to Platinum albums representing a stunning variety of genres. Kenny's gift for crafting deeply emotional music is unparalleled. Special guest is Christopher Robin Band, whose music is influenced by southern rock and blues. Robin has recorded and performed alongside B.B. King, Robert Cray, Jessi Colter, Charlie Daniels and Peter Frampton.
