Iration Announces 'Heatseekers Winter Tour 2018' for January and February

As they prepare to begin their fall headlining "Intergalactic Tour" later this month, reggae-influenced alternative rock band IRATION today (10/9) revealed their initial touring plans for 2018 with the announcement of the "Heatseekers Winter Tour 2018." The 14-date West Coast headlining trek--featuring support from The Movement and Tyrone's Jacket--commences January 18, 2018 in Bakersfield, CA and stops in Fresno, Sacramento (for back-to-back shows at Ace of Spades), Santa Cruz (for another two-night stand at The Catalyst), Chico, Portland, Reno, Park City, Grand Junction, Denver and Tucson before wrapping February 8 in Flagstaff. Tickets for the "Heatseekers Winter Tour 2018" dates go on sale this Friday, October 13 at 10am local time.

"We're pleased to announce the return of the Heatseekers Winter Tour 2018 with our friends The Movement and newcomers Tyrone's Jacket," shares the band. "We'll be jamming new tunes and old favorites as well as playing different sets for the doubleheader shows. We look forward to seeing every one and sharing the luv! On October 24, the Hawaiian-bred, Santa Barbara-based road warriors will kick off their fall headlining "Intergalactic Tour" featuring support from Fortunate Youth and Through The Roots (plus Inner Circle and Katastro on select dates). The 19-date outing will take IRATION across the U.S. through November 18, stopping in such cities as Lawrence, Columbus, Providence, Washington, DC, Myrtle Beach, Nashville, Baton Rouge, Albuquerque and Phoenix, along with back-to-back shows at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, FL and their 5th annual performance at the Del Mar Racetrack in San Diego. Additionally, IRATION will perform at the Riptide Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale on December 2 alongside Cage the Elephant, Weezer, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness and more. IRATION--Micah Pueschel (lead vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth) and Micah Brown(guitar/vocals)--recently released their new single "Borderlines," which has been gaining momentum at radio nationwide since its August release. The new track follows IRATION's previous single "Fly With Me," which debuted at #1on the iTunes Reggae Songs chart upon its May 19 release, and has accumulated over 1.2 million total streams to date. The lyric video for "Fly With Me" has been viewed over 637,000 times on YouTube and Facebook combined; click here to watch and here to download/stream the song. The official space-themed music video for "Fly With Me," which features live footage from this summer's extensive summer tour, was just released and can be seen here. Both songs will appear on the band's forthcoming studio album via their own label, Three Prong Records (release details TBA).
