Cher Forced to Reschedule 'Dressed to Kill' Tour Dates Due to Illness

The New York Post reports that Cher has been forced to reschedule stops in Albany, New York and Manchester, New Hampshire for her current 'Dressed to Kill' tour due to illness.

According to a news release issued yesterday, the legendary performer was diagnosed over the weekend with an acute viral infection. Doctors have ordered that she spend several days in bed. No further details were releaed.

Cher, who is currently on her 49-city D2K Tour, recently added 14 performances beginning mid-September in Allentown, Pennsyvania. The Albany show has now been rescheduled for October 6th, while the Manchester performance will take place on October 7th. Cher is scheduled for two shows at NYC's Madison Square Garden on September 19th and 20th.

The D2K Tour is in support of Cher's Warner Bros. Records album Closer to the Truth which includes the No. 1 Dance hit 'Woman's World'. The tour has received rave reviews across the country.
