COLBERT & CORDEN's Post-Super Bowl Scores Ratings Highs for CBS

Early numbers are in for special CBS's post-Super Bowl broadcasts of LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT and LATE LATE SHOW WITH JAMES CORDEN. According to Deadline, The Late Show scored an all-time high 11.2/21 in metered markets. Later in the evening, James Corden's post-show delivered its highest ever metered market rating since the franchise's inception in 1995 with a 3.5/10.

President Obama, Megyn Kelly and Will Ferrell and more made appearances on 'Colbert.' Among the Late Late Show's highlights was a new edition of the show's popular Carpool Karaoke, featuring Corden and legendary singer Elton John (click here to watch!)

Last night's special is likely to exceed the 6.6 million viewers who tuned in to watch the host's premiere episode of LATE NIGHT last September 8th. David Letterman's farewell outing as host of THE TALK show delivered an average audience of 13.76 million viewers and a 3.06 demo rating.
