Deadline reports that Neil LaBute's film adaptation of SOME GIRLS(S) will be the first project to be released on Vimeo's new On Demand program. The indie film is set to have its New York, Los Angeles and digital debut on June 28th.

Daisy von Scherler Mayer helms the comedy drama which stars Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, Jennifer Morrison, Mia Maestro, Zoe Kazan, and Emily Watson. The film had its premiere this March at SXSW. It was at this event, when Vimeo launched its all-new distribution program, which offers movie makers the unique opportunity to maintain marketing control and to set their own prices, streaming periods, region parameters, while enjoying a 90/10 profit share.

Some Girl(s) may be purchased for $10 including extras and $5 for streaming rental on Vimeo as well as on the film's website.

LaBute's play focuses on Guy, who, with his impending marriage looming over him, decides to revisit the most important relationships in his life with the hopes of putting his past to bed. But a recently published account of his romantic liaisons haunts his every encounter, and trust isn't something you can rebuild overnight.

LaBute, a prolific playwright, director, screenwriter and author of short stories, has penned such plays as bash: latter-day plays, The Distance From Here, The Shape of Things and This is How it Goes.
