The play, which originally premiered at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company, opened on Broadway in December of 2007 and was the recipient of the 2008 Tony Award for Best Play.

SAVING MR. BANKS will be part of one of the festival's gala presentations on November 14 and hits theaters December 13. Directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada), the film stars Tony winner James Corden (One Man, Two Guvnors) in the lead. Corden will next appear in Rob Marshall's screen adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's musical Into the Woods.
