VIDEO: Alexa PenaVega Confronts Her Struggle with Bulemia in Emotional DWTS' Performance

Alexa PenaVega and her partner Mark Ballas were eliminated from last night's DANCING WITH THE STARS. Prior to her highly emotional performance, the actresss shared her struggle with bulimia from the time she was 15 until she was 21. The now 27-year-old star revealed that it has only been recently that she has felt comfortable discussing her eating disorder.

She tells ET, "I never wanted people to associate me with a problem, and that's the biggest fear you have with trying to overcome that. You don't wanna tell anybody because you're like, 'I don't want anyone to associate me with bulimia or an eating disorder in any way. So finally being able to just let it go and say, 'You know what, I know who I am. I know I've gotten past this and I'm proud of myself.'"

Vega's Contemporary routine with partner Mark Ballas not only received a standing ovation, but a PERFECT SCORE of 30 points from the judges. Julianne Hough praised Alexa for her vulnerability and Carrie Ann Inanba said the routine was more than just dance, it was healing. Watch the performance below!
