With the New Year finally here, many are preparing to instill a plan that will help them achieve ambitious health and fitness goals for 2015. In efforts to help gym-goers in their quest to reach these resolutions, more than 100 Retro Fitness locations from coast to coast are participating in a 90-day personal training weight-loss contest with a grand prize of $10,000.

The RetroResults competition is simple-Retro Fitness personal training clients have 90-days to transform their body and lose unwanted pounds. An initial weigh-in will take place upon entering, followed by a mid-weigh 45 days later and a final-weigh at the end of the 90 days. The member who experiences the greatest percent change in his or her bodyweight will win the grand prize of $10,000. The following 14 members will also walk away with prizes, including $1,000 and 12-months free membership for second place and $500 and 12-months free membership for third place.

"This contest is a great way for the Retro Fitness staff to provide direct support and become further involved in our members' journeys of reaching their fitness goals this year," stated Eric Casaburi, CEO and founder of Retro Fitness, one of the nation's leading low-cost, high-value fitness franchises. "By implementing this challenge, we hope members create a habit of routinely attending the gym. Even following the 90 days, members are encouraged to continue working out regularly and maintain health and fitness as a top priority."

Those interested in participating in the RetroResults competition can enroll at their nearest Retro Fitness location* through January 23, 2015.
