Mike Birbiglia Brings WORKING IT OUT to Comedy Works Larimer Square, Now thru 5/11

Mike Birbiglia will bring his stand-up routine "Working It Out" to Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square, tonight, May 9 - 11, 2013.

Mike Birbiglia is a comedian, actor, and writer best known for his award-winning one-man shows, My Girlfriend's Boyfriend and Sleepwalk with Me, which straddle standup comedy and theater. The New York Times called My Girlfriend's Boyfriend "ridiculously enjoyable" and it was named critic's pick by The New York Times, Time Out New York, and New York Magazine. Mike said, "In 2013, I picked some of the best Comedy Clubs in the country to perform and work out a lot of new material."

Over the past 12 years, Birbiglia has developed his own unique story-telling style in the world of standup comedy.

Mike has appeared on more than 40 network talk shows including Letterman, Kimmel, Carson Daly, Conan, Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Fallon, and he has three Comedy Central TV Specials, including "What I Should Have Said Was Nothing." Birbiglia has released three albums with Comedy Central Records. Both The Onion and USA Today named his 2007 release of My Secret Public Journal Live one of "The Best Comedy Albums of the Decade." His Comedy Central Records release, Sleepwalk with Me Live, debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts. In 2011, Mike directed and starred in the feature film adaptation of "Sleepwalk with Me," which was recently acquired by IFC Films and is now available on DVD.
