HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Complete 9-Season DVD to Include Alternative Ending!

When the final two episodes of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER premiered last season, many fans were outraged at the sad ending the series left us with.

Now, fans of the long-running CBS sitcom HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER might be a bit happier with the new alternate ending included on the complete 9-season DVD set.

The alternate ending, which leaves Ted with a much happier end to his story than the original series finale gave him, will be included on the DVD set amongst a large selection of extra features, such as the long-awaited explanation for Ted's mysterious pineapple from season 1, Cristin Milioti's 'Mother' audition tape, and the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con panel.

The HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER special DVD set will be available to purchase on Tuesday, September 23rd.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is a comedy about Ted Mosby and how he fell in love. The final season takes place over the course of Barney and Robin's wedding weekend, when the lives of the gang change dramatically. Ted is about to move to Chicago, Marshall and Lily are about to move to Rome, and Robin and Barney are about to become husband and wife. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future.
