The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (ASO) will celebrate the remarkable musical legacy of Marvin Hamlisch at its POPS! Concerts March 28, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. and March 29, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. in Atlanta Symphony Hall at the Woodruff Arts Center.

Guest conductor Larry Blank will lead the Orchestra and vocalists Jodi Benson, Doug LaBrecque, and Donna McKechnie in a program featuring musical highlights from the legendary American composer's career.

Mr. Hamlisch's accolades include three Academy Awards, four GRAMMY Awards, four Emmy Awards, a Tony Award, and three Golden Globe Awards. He wrote more than 40 movie scores, and composed the music for A Chorus Line, one of the longest running shows on Broadway.
