The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs its fifth and final Pops Series concert titled 'A Tribute To The Music Of Frank Sinatra' on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts to celebrate Sinatra's 100th birthday this year.

The program will feature approximately 18 songs including hits such as Night and Day, I've Got The World On A String, New York New York, and I've Got You Under My Skin. The concert will feature guest conductor and vocalist, Matt Catingub, the full Las Vegas Philharmonic orchestra plus a sax and rhythm section including guest drummer Steve Moretti.

Catingub will return to conduct the Las Vegas Philharmonic and sing his very own arrangements of Sinatra's music. Previous to the upcoming performance, Catingub conducted the orchestra's Pops I concert this season, 'Aloha from Las Vegas' as well as last season's Pops IV concert, 'Love Vintage Las Vegas Style' and the Philharmonic's July 4, 2013 concert. Catingub is the Founder & Artistic Director of Hawaii Pops and long-time Pops Conductor of the Honolulu Symphony and the Hawaii Symphony. He is the son of great jazz vocalist and "Polynesia's First Lady of Song," Mavis Rivers. Catingub's mother was personally signed by Sinatra to his Reprise Records label. Growing up, Catingub regularly performed with his mother and honed his skills as a conductor, vocalist and alto sax player. Catingub wrote and performed the music for the George Clooney film, "Goodnight and Good Luck." The soundtrack for "Goodnight and Good Luck," featuring Catingub and vocalist Diane Reeves, won a GRAMMY.

Moretti also performed in the Las Vegas Philharmonic's Pops I concert this season, 'Aloha from Las Vegas' as well as last season's Pops IV concert, 'Love Vintage Las Vegas Style.' Moretti is a drummer, percussionist and producer who has performed with many vocal and instrumental artists including Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Arturo Sandoval, Toni Tennille, and The Temptations. He toured with Catingub and Rosemary Clooney for six years and recorded two GRAMMY nominated CDs with them. Moretti is co-founder of the Macon Pops in Macon, GA, and runs his own production company, Morettiman Music.
