Acclaimed by the Los Angeles Times as "one of the more elegant and accomplished pianists on the planet," classical music artist Jorge Federico Osorio is coming to the Gallo Center for the Arts as part of the ongoing Modesto Junior College "MusicLIVES" recital series. His performance takes place on Saturday, October 12, at 8 pm.

Tickets for the recital are $15 and $45, and may be purchased at www.galloarts.org, by calling (209) 338-2100, or from the Gallo Center ticket office at 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

Osorio has been internationally hailed for his superb musicianship, powerful technique, vibrant imagination and deep passion. He has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, and he has recorded a wide variety of repertoire, including a Brahms solo CD that Gramophone cited as "one of the most distinguished discs of Brahms' piano music in recent years."
