It's been 50 years since the Beatles changed rock 'n roll forever with their first American TV appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show in February, 1964. Join us for a trip back in time to the 1960s to experience a live performance of Abbey Road, the Beatles' best-selling album of all time. Classic Albums Live will perform The Beatles' Abbey Road at the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University in University Park on Saturday, October 25 at 8 p.m. One night only.

A group of gifted musicians will perform every song from the rock masterpiece - note for note, cut for cut - treating the music with the utmost respect. They dig deep to deliver an accurate portrayal of this amazing body of work as it was created. The results take the listener on a magical trip down memory lane - immersing them in a Beatles concert experience that could only be topped by the actual Beatles themselves. There are no gimmicky costumes or impersonations. It's all about the music. If you were lucky enough to see the Beatles back in the day, you will enjoy reliving the experience. If you never got the chance, don't miss this concert.

Ranked as one of the greatest Beatles albums, fans will remember Abbey Road by its album cover with images of John, Paul, George and Ringo walking, single file, across the street in front of Abbey Road Studios. Legendary songs such as Come Together, Something and Here Comes the Sun are just the beginning of an unforgettable evening.

An English Pub experience, including traditional fish 'n chips, sliders and slaw, and English beer, along with a memorabilia auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. Items include an "Abbey Road" Beatles Poster signed by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr; a Paul McCartney Guitar; a Beatles on Ed Sullivan Poster with signatures of all four Beatles; a Rolling Stones Concert poster with signatures of all four Stones and a Rolling Stones full-size electric guitar signed by all four legends including Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts, among many other collectible items.
