To honor one of the greatest speeches in American history, the orchestra presents Boston's musical tribute to the inspiration and ideals that lie at the heart of DR. Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream, Wednesday, August 28, 2013 7:00 PM FREE at the DCR's Hatch Shell on the Esplanade*

This very special event will feature Governor Deval Patrick narrating Kurt Weill's Cry, the Beloved Country and Aaron Copland's Lincoln Portrait. Also featured will be the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Regiment, Boston Public Schools student artwork, and the first official American Sign Language translation of Dr. King's iconic speech.
