Outliers Publishing announced they will be selling individual chapters from the most up-to-date, comprehensive textbook about the business of urgent care, entitled Textbook of Urgent Care Management, in eBook format on Amazon.com. The second chapter is already available online and the entire book will be available by the end of August 2014.

The textbook was edited by Dr. John Shufeldt, a forerunner in the field of Urgent Care Medicine and chapters are authored by twenty seven expert immediate care operators. It serves as a business-consulting guide to potential or existing urgent care clinic owners, managers and operators as well as investors. The 47-chapter book touches on topics that range from location selection to financial management, marketing, and social media for an immediate care center, and much more.

The individual chapters will be available for purchase and immediate download on Amazon.com and other eBook retailers by August 31, 2014. The full book is available now in print or eBook format on the official Urgent Care Education website.

The Textbook of Urgent Care Management is the second book in the Urgent Care Education Series accompanied by the Textbook of Urgent Care Medicine.

"We want to give readers the option of purchasing the chapters that best apply to the stage of urgent care business they are in. Many physicians, operators, and clinic owners find our textbooks after they have opened their walk-in center and decide to launch social media for example or maybe want to learn more about hiring and compensation and screening for quality medical providers. The book and individual eBook chapters are perfect for the various phases in urgent care business they might find themselves in," said Editor-in-Chief, and previous owner of one of the nation's largest urgent care groups, Dr. John Shufeldt.
